… About Our Garden: The First Big Lettuce Harvest

Rob and I both love to eat salad, and it’s a good thing because I think we’re going to have lots of lettuce this year. We harvest by the leaf, not the head. I don’t know if it’s the type of lettuce we plant or just how we handle it, but we never really get heads — at least we haven’t in the past and we haven’t this year (so far). It’s hard to show you how much we picked but the photo below shows our largest mixing bowl, which is about 13″ across and 5″ deep.
