As you can see, the garden is progressing nicely. Here are some “before” (left) and “after” (right) photos. The “before” ones were taken about two weeks after planting (5/26) and the “after” ones about five weeks after planting (6/13). At this point we’ve harvested lettuce and strawberries. We think the strawberries are pretty much done — we had those early harvests but since then we’ve just been getting a berry or two every few days. We have dozens of green tomatoes but haven’t seen any squash yet — just lots of leaves and flowers. Two of the three broccoli plants are thriving — the third looks OK, it’s just half the size of the other two. The carrots and potatoes have lots of above ground growth, but it will be a while before we find out what’s going on underground.
